Public Art of a Temporary Nature — Chalk Up Helena, 2013
Adia, Ema, their dad Jeremy and I, along with lots of other folks, participated in the annual ChalkUp Helena event downtown. Adia had a lemonade stand as well, hoping to make some money towards her goal of buying a computer. I got a little carried away with my chalk art, but I kinda like it.
There were so many amazing works of art at the end of the day and I could only vote for five! I gave my votes to some of the little kids who poured their creative hearts and souls into their chalk squares. If you go downtown early this week (IF it doesn’t rain) you might still be able to enjoy viewing the hundreds of cool designs along the walking mall.
